Was this the original motor on the full transom models? I just bought an 87 (looks just like the photo) but don't really know much about the engine. Any info would be appreciated.

Yeah...this is the original engine that came with full transom models.. it was real heavy. Fugazi helped with the fiberglassing work and conversion to a bracketed engine mount and addition of a yamaha 200HP OB
