My wife and her sisters always go shopping the weekend after Thanksgiving so the kids and I usually go to Holden Beach with my folks, as we did this past weekend.
We drove down Thursday night after stuffing our bellies at my sister in laws house near Greenville SC. Friday morning I helped my Dad fix the water shut off valve and my uncle get his riding lawn mower started.
Friday afternoon we all went for a nice stroll on the beach, it was sunny and about 68 degrees with no wind.
So I checked the forcast for Saturday, partly cloudy in the morning, chance of showers by late afternoon, light and slight seas. So my son, Dad, and I plan to take the V out to snag a few Black Bass Saturday morning.
Woke up at 0630 Saturday morning and it was raining so hard you couldn't see......and it never stopped all day.
But we had a nice visit and ate some delisious steamed oysters, sauteed skrimps, and homeade clam chowdah.
Here's a few pics:
The whole crew, my Mom (facing away), Dad, Brother, and 3 kids.
My 3 kids.
Paw Paw and Gracie.
Sunset.
They were dredging the Lockwood Folly Inlet.
