Not sure about that second solenoid, maybe to the trim? If the motor checks out ok I would definitely buy the Pertronics module and Flamethrower coil. It made a world of difference on my 170 4 cylinder Mercruiser. No more points and starts faster, runs alot better.

Ive used Marinetex a few times and it worked great. They make two different kinds, one for fiberglass and one for metal. Both work good.

Not much happening here. Theres a big low pressure off shore, wind whipping hard and surf rough. Tried surf fishing yesterday morning with 4 oz weights on bottom rigs, couldn't keep them out. NE wind kickin hard. Cloudy and misty rain this morning. Still beats working!
