    Anchor roller

Ok, looks like I am going to be doing the anchor pulpit this winter. I need to start anchoring up more and I don't like draging that anchor out of the locker all the time. What size anchor roller should I use? I have been searching the threads but I didn't find the size. So this will be my...

    Banged up prop

Hey guys need some advice. I banged up my prop a bit coming in at low tide yesterday and I was wondering if I could still run it that way it is or if I should just get another one. I am just running out to live line and slow troll. The one blade is bent some but the rest just got chipped.

    Finally back on the water

Well I finally mounted a motor on that new transom of mine and got back on the water. I pulled it 2.5 hours and around the capital beltway and it didn't fall off. I took her out this weekend and all is good, even managed to throw a few croaker in the boat.

Hey guys I was pulling my reserve tank out from in front of the main tank today and after I pulled it out I noticed that the bulkhead was rotten big time. My question is will I be ok with just replacing the middle section of the bulkhead? Everything else seems solid except for the middle, but I...

    Jackplate thoughts

I am in the middle of a transom rebuild and I wanted to get some thoughts on using a jackplate with a 10 inch setback. The transom is notched to 20 inches but I am looking to repower and that would allow me to use either a 20 or 25 inch motor and if I don't get a newer motor then I can still use...

    Transom pictures

Ok I did it I pulled my motor today to start digging out the transom. I have read I believe every thread on it I could find and most of it seems pretty straight forward. I would like to put a bracket on the back and fill in the transom area and believe the bracket would mount just below where...

    Stringer question

I am getting ready to redo my transom and I was looking at where the stringers attached and figured I would check them out. What I found was from the drain hole in the stringers back, I had very little wood left but from the hole forward was ok and all the fiberglass was strong. I was planning...
