Trump lies knowing people don’t check

Maybe I missed something, but how does the unibomber's "reveal" date have anything to do with the date of Trump's uncle's date of death? Also, being somewhat familiar with the Harvard, MIT community long ago, I know that taking classes at one of those institutions while enrolled at the other, wasn't uncommon.

No, Ted Kaczynski did not go to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
. The misconception may have been fueled by a debunked claim by Donald Trump that his uncle, an MIT professor, had taught Kaczynski.
Kaczynski's actual educational background is:
  • Harvard University: He entered Harvard at age 16 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics in 1962.
  • University of Michigan: He went on to earn his master's degree in 1964 and his PhD in mathematics in 1967.
  • University of California, Berkeley: After completing his PhD, he briefly worked as an assistant mathematics professor at UC Berkeley before leaving academia in 1969.
 
None of which confirms that he didn’t take any classes from Trump’s uncle, unless the uncle died or wasn’t teaching at MIT while Ted was a student at Harvard.
