Hope everyone has their boats and campers winterized. And you guys still wearing shorts, might need a long pair of pants. Gonna be 10 tonight. I have my truck plugged in. Got a fire in the garage woodstove. Not sure why but it makes me feel better that all my junk is warm.

I've got an old Huntsman wood stove that I bought for $350 several years ago. Heats my 1400 sq/ft shop like a dream.

I can only wish that I can have a wood burning fire stove in m6 garage. I can’t. But I do have one in my family room down stairs and have not used it in years.

Heater gave up in my trailer last night. 56 inside prompted me to find the space heater. We only got down to 44.

What about a kerosene heater? I had one and they work good.

Brrrrrrr! I had a service to call this morning, didn’t leave the house till 10.

The older i get, the more the cold hurts me.

Yeah its getting colder. We had a little snow here Tuesday into the evening. Got about an inch or so. Got a big wood stove in my shop but haven't hooked it up yet. Been going through my chainsaws last couple of days off. I have eight saws , logged for 20 years. Just rebuilt one of my 044 Sthil's yesterday. Runs strong now, got two 044s. Theres nothing like getting close to a hot wood stove when you've been in the cold for a while. Warms you through and through. Phat you're right, the older I get the more it hurts.

Step why don't u use your woodstove? Gotta be cheaper than oil gas or electric?

We got rid of oil heat and now we have gas. It’s much cheaper than oil heat. We don’t stay down stairs much plus my wife has yard sales and all of her stuff is piled around the stove. so we don’t use it BUT. I’m go8ng to start. I just hav3 to get wood and stack it up. Plus my wife says it smokes up house And wood is not an issue. I live in the wooded area. Houses around me bu5 I can still get wood.
