went over and finally got the new water hose on and new thermostat in.....and...... SHE LIVES!!!!!! :happy: she fired right up and ran like a champ at the dock. had her at cruising RPM till she warmed up and watched the thermostat kick in..... Watch out boys.......IM BAAACCCCKKKK:sly:

can I run my I/O without a thermostat? It is a 470 Mercruiser? Why do I need one?:head: It has a heat exchanger so it has a closed water/antifreeze system for the motor.
