    Closest Awlgrip color match?

Do you guys happen to know the closest matching Awlgrip color for my 76' V-20 cuddy? I was thinking about trying to match my hull gelcoat color when I paint my topside. I'm feeling the squeeze to get back on the water and think my gelcoat will clean up good but I don't want two different colors...

    Wouldn't it be nice.

For those of us who have bottom paint and hate it. I'm going to prep my transom before I put my motor back on. I sanded of a section of the bottom paint (as a test) and wet sanded it back out, hand buffed it, came out nice. Unfortunatly I have a couple broken of scews and more stress cracks...

    Hatch liners?

Have any of you ever tried to use hatch liners in your molded in deck boxes? I'm considering this as an alternative to grinding and filling and sanding and filling and sanding and filling and sanding (get my point?). My thought would be to epoxy them into place and bore the hole for the drain...

Anyone ever fill in a notched transom?

As I'm in the midst of prepping my boat for paint, I'm wondering " Why couldn't you fiberglass a bulkhead on the inside of the splashwell on a notched transom V-20?" It wouldn't give you a full transom but it would offer more protection on the stern and knock down some of the motor noise and...

    I'm into it now!

I started ginding out the stress cracks in the deck today. I'm using my rorozip and a 1/4 inch rounded fiberglass bit. It works great, but does anyone know if I need to feather them out or not. I'm going to use West System with microlite additive. My plan is once I fill the cracks is to skim...

    I got my motor painted!

I figured I would post some before and after pics of my motor. I know we all like pics. She is an 85' 140 hp Evinrude. It treated me so good last year I figured I would give it a little spruce up. The color is the original. I sprayed 1 coat of zinc primer, 1 coat of multi purpose epoxy and 2-3...

    Who's ready?

I was wondering if anyone else is behind the curve on having the boat ready this spring. I got wrapped up with a whole lot of flooring that is putting me way behind :-[ Anyway, the motor is still in the garage waiting for a little sanding and paint and the boat is next to the house waiting for...

    My boat pic

This picture stuff is pretty cool. I used the instructions in the FAQ's section. Very simple to do, thanks. Anyway, here is a picture of my 76' V-20 . It has a 85' 140 h.p. Evinrude on it. Now that Iv'e got the motor right, I'm giving it a little love(paint and preserve. What do I need to do to...

Looking to paint my v-20 cuddy.

Hey guys, It's been awhile since I posted. Anyway I'm seriously thinking about spraying my 76' (whole boat). I am thinking of either pale yellow of sky blue with off white above the rub rail. Has anyone ever seen a colored V-20. I think it would look sweet. I started filling a few holes with...

    Adding a live well.

I have a 76' v-20 cuddy. I would love to modify an existing space and make it a live well, any thoughts. One of the deck boxes would be perfect but I don't know how you would run the wiring. Thanks guys.

    3-4 foot seas no sweat!

Let me just tell ya! I went out last Sat. in the Chesapeake bay in about 3-4 foot swells......My 76' v-20 cuddy with the 140 evinrude did great. We were coming back in with a following sea at around 28 MPH. Needless to say it was a good pounding but the boat did awesome. I need to go through...

    good price on 78' v-20?

What would be a fair price for a 78' v-20 cuddy with an 87' 200 evinrude. It is on a tandem trailer and a new high level bimini with full inclosure? I have a frien that is interested. Thanks

    Ha sanyone seen painted v-20's?

I have a 76' cuddy with a 140 evinrude. I got it last summer and I love it. Unfortunatly...the boat has bottom paint on it from a previous owner. I would like to paint the the hull some trendy seafoam color or a navy blue. Has anyone seen pics of one with a different color hull? thanks
