    Bow rail Why ?

When you choose to install a bow pulpit on these boats you give up the amount of travel on the slider. Reaching for the safety pin on the anchor stay and removing it can be difficult for some standing in the cutty. Being 6' I can do it but others with me may not. Having the anchor mounted on the...

    Bow rail Why ?

If you ever have to go up on the bow deck in 3-4's having that bow rail in place gives you something to grab when you suddenly slip. If you don't have an anchor pulpit and do everything standing in the cuddy sure, less of an issue. Personally I think the bow rail adds to the overall look of the...

    Bow rail Why ?

If you anchor from the bow on a cuddy you would be making a mistake removing it.

    Who’s got the oldest V boat ?

Suzuki makes a damn good outboard. All the commercial waterman in my area have switched from Yamaha the last 5 years. Don't get me wrong. Yamaha makes a fantastic outboard. It could be due to Suzuki being the only local authorized service dealer. These guys rely heavily on service. Down time...

    Who’s got the oldest V boat ?

When the day comes I'm ready. For right now this 200 H.O. is a beast that pushes the 21 to 49 mph on GPS with half tank and just me. It idles like an angry bobcat with zero smoke cold or hot. The 300 hour maintenance is a MUST. Guy's who neglect it are the ones who find themselves re-powering...

Sold the V-21 in 2012 like an idiot then in 2023 Begreene's V-21 came up for sale. I trailered it back from N.J. and was back in the V-21 game.

    Trim tabs

Transom design is great! Little more room in the boat and the splash board knocks down a little engine noise at speed. It also helps get the boat on plane quicker due to the buoyant design. It was a very smart move on Wellcrafts part. Look at what most all builders are doing now with bracketing...
