I think I just fragged my 150 Yamaha

update.... ...of course it makes total sense that Yamaha would place a fuse in front of all else just in case somebody (me) reversed the polarity when connecting the battery! I traced the wires from the up/down switch on the side of my motor and I found the fuse. Went over to Autozone and...

I think I just fragged my 150 Yamaha

I was not paying attention and reversed the polarity on my battery! Though I am not trying to start it, I was just trying to lift it up. It was connected for about 20 seconds before I realized it was backwards. It is a 89 Yamaha 150 pro. Did I actually blow my ignition module or something else?

    My Yamaha 150V tachs.

I am installing a 1997 Yamaha 150V onto my 1983 V20. The old Wellcraft cluster panel is still remaining on my boat. Does anyone know if those old tach, fuel, trim meter will work with my motor? Or can I use any newer meters with my motor? Or do they need to be Yamaha?

    1983 v20 steplift with Johnson 140HP OB.

I bought this boat for 2k with the Johnson 140. The motor does not run and i am replacing it with a Yamaha 150 off of my bayliner. Does anyone know if the Johnson 140 was standard with this boat when first sold or possibly an option?
