    repaired fuel tank and live bait hatch lid.

    i replaced the plywood under the lids with 3/4 in marine plywood, and fiberglass it with 1.5 matted fiberglass. followed by a layer of 1078. my question is should it be just painted or a gelcoat layer brushed on? any advice would be appreciated. jet,

    finally seized 150 engine is no more

    well i got that 85 Johnson seized 150 engine torn apart. i had to cut off the exhaust housing with a cutting wheel to separate it from the block. i split the case and removed the pistons and rods. i enclosed a few pictures. i didn't think a seized engine would come apart so easily. jet
