hey reelapeelin,
I think so, new stringers 3 years ago, almost every inch of wiring replaced with anchor yacht ( tin coated ) marine wire, no crimp connectors, all soldered w/heatshrink tubing. All new battery cables and battery switch. New marine switches with led's so us old guys can see whats on at night. New white face gauges, same reason, new fuse holders in dash and new fuse box in cabin, new vhf and ant., apelco fish finder, new volvo controls, new reman longblock, new volvo manifolds and new risers. V8 powered I/O, Has run 56mph on gps. new trim hoses, 1000 gph bilge pump, no screws below waterline, remote oil filter mount, drain hose on oil pan for easy service, offshore style fuel filter/water seperator, new deck plates, cockpit lights, new stereo and speakers, 96 qt cooler w/cushion in place of port side seat, canvas on bimini is new, full enclosure, new flares, fire ext. Galvanized trailer with new bunks, some new rollers, power winch,  hull is in great shape, never had bottom paint, all old screw holes in deck filled with marinetex. Good solid boat with twice as much invested as I am asking, looking for a good home for it,
                            Franco

Also Have original wellcraft owners manuals, outdrive paperwork, 3 different books and brochures - all original and correct for this boat

BigShrimpin, is looking for the 1983 book!! Maybe you can loan it to him to copy before you sell the boat??

Trying to decide whether to have it transported down to my new home in florida or sell it. Like the idea of adding a bracket and a 4storke outboard. If any body id interested - make a valid offer - trailer is fair at best, but the boat is in good shape. new 5.0L long block, new risers, manifolds, wiring, switches, gauges, ne bimini w/full curtins. let me know @ francomeyers@yahoo.com

Can't help but ask: why not take it to Florida? Seems like you could get lots of use out of it there. Perhaps the $$$ is the overriding factor . . . if so, say no more. Sounds like a great boat.

Well it's on the way down south. Found a boat transport company that is shipping it down here feb 9th. It's gonna cost $780.00 to load the whole thing on a tractor trailer and have it delivered to my driveway. I am looking forward to it. Didn't have a good way to transport it down when I left Virginia. Packed up the furniture and shipped it down. Had my wife, my 82 year old dad, coming in two vehicles. Decided to take the car train from virginia. Easier on my dad to travel that way. Trailer is not in great shape, ran out of time to fix the trailer and no good plan to tow it. Stuff finally worked out though. New house in a mile from the Indian River on Floridas treasure coast. A short hop to sebastian inlet and about a 30 minute tow to Fort Pierce inlet. In the winter you can catch sailfish about 15 miles outside the inlet. Cant wait. I'll send some pictures. By the way, my older brother was production manager at wellcraft when my boat was built. I am the third owner of this boat. I purchased it from one of my boating buddies. I have all the original paperwork that came with the boat.
Just some info for those interested, Franco

thanks bob,
My V20 got here in great shape. Used a company called LTM Boattransport. Lance is the owner. They picked it up wed nite at 7:00 pm and delivered it at 5:30 pm thursday. Milton, the transporter driver had it unloaded when I got there. They have a very cool rig. It's a trailer with a winch and a trolley with an attached trailer ball. He backs the rig up to the boat, drops the hitch on the ball and winches it all the way up. No marina fees for loading and unloading. All he needs is a parking lot to load and unload. By the way, I may have already said, but my brother was plant manager at wellcraft when my boat was built. Now he is a bigshot at Pursuit Boats. He is interested in helping me restore my boat back to original, with a few upgrades. Gonna add outriggers, paint the deck and some more modernizing. This area of florida has a lot of marine surplus stores. Gonna change the old wooden hatch doors with new style plastic. All the mechanical is pretty good. I am looking for the big rubber bumper that stops the outdrive when it goes all the way up. Have a good day. Will start adding some pics soon. Franco

Welcome. Glad the move went well. If I can help in any way contact me by pm or this site. Someday maybe we can meet at the inlet.
Regards,
Bob
