I am in!! Not sure I will get out or not?? But what the heck!!

Make sure you guys enter your pic's in the Photo Contest also! I will end it midnight 10/31!

Thanks CY!!

Ok boys, there she is. I have extended the tourney to 2 weeks long this year. No more " I did not have time to fish".

Last years winner was sean. Lets not let him do it again. :bat: speaking of the devil anyone heard from him lately?

:hide:What's up fella's.. Most likely won't have a chance to give the contest the attention that it deserves this year as I am preparing/and anxiously awaiting the possibility of the fall run of Blue Fin Tuna (My new obsession:love:) in our offshore/inshore ledges. Hopefully after the moon on Monday the bite will pick up and I can finally put one in the boat! Ever since my 1st trip out, I have been over whelmed with the amount of life we have just off shore, flying fish, whales, porposes, dolphin, turtles, different species of bird and most import TUNA!!!!!! Good luck Guys!!!

Lumber's daughter was in the tourney last year and will be again this year. Wondering if we will let other people sign up as well. My fishing partner wants in as well.

any opinions?

Did we only do one week last year? I can't remember. I do remember the 1st annual tourney lasted one month and we had 13 or 14 paying participants....I'm sure Airslot remembers since he won the darn thing with a fish market flounder :cen:
I say heck yeah lets sign up as many as possible. Just remember let's all make sure to be HONEST, meaning no cheating. That is one thing we risk if we let outsiders get involved. I say if it is a close friend of a member or an extremely good trustworthy friend we should allow them to enter.

Besides, I could use the extra cash!! DOUBLE HARDY HAR!!

I'll be in, not sure how much I'll fish that period as work is busy. I'll talk trash when it get closer to fishing time :nut:

Well...since I had a SLIGHT hand IN KICKIN' THIS THING OFF TO BEGIN WITH, I gonna join in the fun again this year!!...two weeks is my vote if we're still decidin...but I'm in either way...

Cy...see yer email...special info...

glad some more signed up! dont forget to send me an email to

i will send you a PayPal request or my address for a check.

Reel, no email buddy...try her again

Sean....who's boat is taking you offshore??? No toggin' this year?

I've been going out in my boat, the 18' skiff:beer: I have done 100 mile days and burned only about 25 gallons. Not Offshore like the Canyons, but fishing Cox's Ledge, Mudhole, Fingers ect.... Knock on wood, I have been lucky with weather/sea and only go if I have a "defenant' window.
Still scared to death of running towards blitzing whales.. as I had whales with in a few yards of the boat that just dwarfed me. Bite should start picking up so if you want to go, let me know.

I'm actually thinking of doing my 1st Tog trip tomorrow. Planning on running around for a bit and see if any bones/albies are showing up, Jig up some bass/blues then anchor up on a good early spot that usually gets over fished by Oct 1st and crush up some crabs...
