9/30 Delaware Bay

Went out at 10:30am to catch the last of the incoming tide. Water temperature was 67 and our first stop was the 20ft slew. No bites, pulled anchor and ran to #1, 1 shark. Final stop was just inside the stakes with the fleet. I had frozen mullet and fresh clam. Between my father and I we caught 25 blues and 2 throw back weakies. On my light Ugly Stik those 2 pound blues fight like a freight train. A couple were breaking water as we were bringing them in, pretty cool. The funny thing was we were bailing blues and everyone else in the fleet didnt seem to be doing much. They must not have had mullet ;D

Blue fish, they can sure save a trip. I love rippin a jumpin minow, or any top water threw a breaking school and watch them try to slam the plug. Playing keep away with the blues...
Nice report ;D
