We are going to part with our 1996 Wellcraft v21 Steplift. We bought the boat new in 1996 and have taken excellent care of it. Gellcoat still shines like new. Over the years we have made many upgrades including a 2002 Yamaha Saltwater Series 150HP motor in 2003. The motor has about 300hrs on it and it has been used every year and flushed after every use. This is the first year the boat was not put in the water. The boat comes with a 1996 Long galvanized trailer with good tires and a PowerWinch.
Some upgrades/repairs over the last few years.
1) All plastic thru-hull fittings have been replaced with bronze fittings, including the deck drains. We also installed larger deck drains when we replaced them.
2) When the motor was replaced we had the marinetex putty in the transom hull to deck joint removed, cleaned, dried and the joint filled with fiberglass and epoxy then reinstalled the trim.
3) New Seastar steering cylinder in the last 3 years.
4) Replaced the cracked plastic rod racks in the stern with fiberglass panels that are painted with Awlgrip and have screw out accesses for through hull fittings.
5) Replaced pry out deck plates with screw type Beckson plates. Rebedded them at the same time.
6) painted the bottom in the last 3 weeks, after taking the photos.
7) Replaced the folding deck chair last year.
8) New combing pads 3 years ago.
At this time the boat needs a few things repaired and I plan address them before the sale however I will list them incase the sale happens faster than I can address them.
1) The washdown pump needs to be replaced.
2) The trim tab wiring needs to be checked/fixed. We didnt use the tabs because the boat was kept in a rack and we didnt want to damage the boat leaving them down when they hauled it with the forklift.
3) The cabin bulkhead has some rot at the bottom.
Asking $9000 or best reasonable offer. Contact me through THT or via phone 732-771-6816.
