I love the Allmand 23' Ticonderoga, I believe they make [or made] it in a fly bridge/dual station model and a hardtop model. At my local ramp I met a guy a few years back w/ the flybridge, as I approached him from a couple hundred yards away I was instantly drawn to the classic lines of the boat. Turns out he just restored the whole rig and man, it was nice. Think it was a 1975 hull. VERY deep gunnels [I think the floor ends up being below the waterline ? not sure] giant cockpit, lotsa storage, he had some v8 Mercruiser in there, looks like it was made when boat builders used the old green fiberglass. The sides of the hull felt like the glass was 3/4" thick. Really neat flybridge/helm. That make/model is defenitly on my top five list of trailerable boats. If I could find one that wasn't a project boat I would probably sell the V for it. I search them from time to time and there are not many out there.
