I saw this on CNN and they showed a bit more of the clip.....the sad part is, prior to the bite the shark had lunged once and nearly got him. So, instead of realizing it was a bad idea, he pressed on......gotta save that hook! You can see where that got him..... :-/

Cherry Grove SC, just south of Little River (SC/NC line) held World Record Tiger Shark for YEARS...hooked up from pier...landed on beach...1760 lbs...
