Just dropping in to say hello. I recently picked up a 1982 V20 with the original Merc 150 on it (boat and trailer for 3K). This is my first boat, and I can honestly say that while researching which boat to buy I spent a great deal of time on this site. Any boat that his this many believers has to be a good purchase.

I'm running the boat out on the Boston Harbor and so far she has exceeded all of my expectations.

I've actually set up a site (with a bit of tongue and cheek in there) that's going to document my new purchase.

Thanks guys. You're right about it being clean. Not a single crack or tear in a cushion. I got lucky.

Funny. Not only am I from NE. But i grew up in Lakebille and now both of my parents live in Middleborough.

yes, you got lucky alright! You'd be hard-pressed to find a boat in this good a shape for the price you mentioned (and I've been looking). Congratulations!

Welcome to the site! I checked out your website - too funny. I ordered a t-shirt (just kidding).

p.s. put chix in bikinis on website....will get your hit count up. LOL

Blue Runner...
Unfortunately the bikini season had come and gone before I had my boat in the water. Trust me...I had envisioned lots of bikinis. That was definitely high on my list of things to see when I moved back to Boston. But...I guess they'll have to wait until next season

Funny wesite man...I meant to click on it when I first read the post the other day but got side tracked and forgot to get back to it. Do you do that kind of work for a living or do you just sit there for hours on end doing that?

thanks guys. That site is turning out to be a lot of fun.

As for the font. It's a combination of 2 fonts that I tweaked a bit. I was aiming for just the right amount of style and smarm when I designed it.
