Anybody shrimp with their V-20?

I drag a shrimp trawl with my boat, usually just on opening day (this Wednesday) it's just a 16 foot trawl & it's mostly for fun.

I saw anothe v-20m on the way to work this morning and it was rigged to trawl too, just like mine with a picking board across the gunnels just forward of the engine well. I was wondering if any of y'all had it rigged differently?

Don't drag for shrimp here, either.

We used to have bay scallops. :'(

Would really like to see pics of your rig, garbubba.

Yeah those lake Erie shrimp are few & far between! :D

I live in Bay St. Louis Mississippi (I'm from PA) It's a little coast town east of New Orleans.

I've been planning to post some pics but I'm a bit embarrassed after seeing some of y'all's rigs. :-[

The boat was in Florida originally & I mostly Island hop & fish a bit offshore but shrimping is a pretty good time, I could probably buy the shrimp cheaper ($1.00 apound at the dock right now) But a couple of friends, a couple of beers, a good cigar & who cares how much shrimp I get. ;) I get a blast out of all the different critters that come up & get some bait & chum as lagniappe too.

I'll start putting together some pics on the rare occasions that I have it all cleaned up.

Your boat can be no worse then mine!! I belive I have the worst one here! Don't worry they look much better in pictures then in real life!!

I have a buddy that leves in Gulfport Miss.He tells me about all the shrimp boats!!
Shrimp here in the Bi chain stores goes from $5.99 to $12.99!!!

OK, OK I'll take some when I get it out to rig for shrimping, it lives in a tin boathouse so no pics now, it's raining cats & dogs out anyway.

It's my first v-20 but I've been hunting for one for years, worked on an island & used to see them there in all weather with dry & happy passengers.

Shrimping update.

With my wife as the crew, we left the dock (my dock) at 5:30 & had the trawl in the water by the 6am opening time. By eleven, after 4 drags we had 100 pounds of shrimp, were running low on ice (I always bring too much or too little) and heading home at 40mph.

Life is good.
