we took out my buddys boat in august and had a good day.  2004 28' Albemarle with twin volvos. we had to venture 60 miles offshore for these beautys

HIGH DIVER HOW FAR DO YOU HAVE TO GO TO GET THE TUNA AND DOLPHIN?

WE HAVE TO GO 60 MILES TO GET TO THE GULF STREAM AND THE CANYONS. USUALLY AROUND 150' TO 200' DEEP. AND WHEN YOU GO OVER THE CANYONS IT DROPS OFF TO 1600' :o KINDA FREAKY ;D
 
We've got a 60 mile run to the stream outta Charleston, too...push away from the dock at 4:30 and watch the sun come up on the 1st set ;) 8) ...
 
I'm sorry, don't hate me.. my parents dragged me here when 13 :'( It can be anywhere from 1 to 20 miles, most of the time at least a few miles out..in the weed lines. ;)
 
Nice catch Cy, 120 miles rt. thats a good water trip, sea's look decent. Fish blood on the deck, high five's around...Z
 
Cy man, I been waiting on the best part of that story. Tuna's and mahi's are nice but lets talk about that Whitey release y'all are flyin. You holdin out brother. Also, as a point of info, we never really get to fish the stream around here. We get eddies, but the stream is usually 125 or more miles from the beach. Now, fishin in the stream can be surreal up here but you are real close to god out there. If you had ventured another 5 miles or so you would have crossed the 1000....fathoms that is. The Balt. and Wash. go from 300' to 1500' rather quickly and then a short ways offshore the bottom falls out. Those are my favorite stompin grounds, but they really aren't in my budget. It's just an occasional teaser for me. It's a good thing I don't have money, cause I'd surely blow it out there.

hey slot, no marlin release. i think what you are looking at is the flag warped. sorry only tuna and dolphin, if i had the money i would live out there as well ;D

o.k. bud. i thought it over. and after much soul searching decided to be a bigger man. i dont hate you anymore.




but, ur friends on the other hand, they are very much hated! especialy the guy who owns the boat.i will be haterizing on him for a very long time.
