Lots of blow up around the changes CB are making with regard to remodeling with a more modern look, changing the logo, etc. Me personally, CB is just ok. Eat there maybe 2x per year with family. I never feel like I eat anything healthy there, not that they don't have something healthy on the menu. There are a few mom and pop diners I go to where I can get great country cooking, huge portions, for 30% less (or more) than CB - and not have to wait as long. One is a meat and three veggies for less than $10. Huge portions. So to me - I think it is more about the ambiance, look and feel of the restaurant & store that drives customers to enter the front door. Especially since there are faster, cheaper options. By modernizing they are taking away a major part of what makes CB what it is.

I personally think the new logo alone is outright hideous. We'll see if they can recover from this. Looks like they are not backing off on the logo or remodel/modernization. Time will tell.

They support the lbzmnop÷;?_' parades. I will not go there anymore. There's a ton of campers that camp in their lots overnight and then eat breakfast before continuing their trip. I bet alotvwill just use the rest room now and leave. Never thought the food was very good anyway.
Uncle Ben is gone, aunt Jemima is gone, land o lakes kept the land and got rid of the Indian, bud light went fruity. I don't buy any of those brands anymore.

I know, there's that too. If you really take a uber hard line on that you'd eventually have to start raising all your own food and making goods by hand.

Yeah. I know. There is a list of places i don't shop anymore. I try to support mom and pop shops. My friend raises cows and pigs. Thats where our meat comes from other than deer.

I went to Cracker Barrel only a very few times and I thought the food sucked especially the breakfast. By them going W. O. K. E. They will be going. B. R. O. K. E.

WE don't have any by me - I heard good things and bad things about their food - Mostly good - Now with their disgusting new logo - To me, if I was to drive by it, it doesn't look like a restaurant - it looks like a - CAR DEALERSHIP - A place if I could, I would not go there at all - 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇺🇸

I have a C B a mile away and didn’t go there before and will not go now. I have a very Dumb question, what did they change with the logo? Did they remove the guy?
This world is going crazy. Aunt Jemima. Uncle Ben. Why? The thing I remember when going to C B was the nostalgia in the store. I thought it was cool to see that.

Google “new Cracker Barrel logo”. Looks like they just took out the old guy and the barrel. Pretty stupid, since barrel is in the name and it’s mostly old guys and their wives who’ve lost enough of their taste buds to like their food who eat there.

much better places to eat breakfast, go to waffle house and you'll get good breakfast, entertainment WWE style, and possibly some range time, all in one place

I found the best place to have breakfast. The kitchen in my house. I don’t have to leave a tip,I can have all the coffee I want. I can have all the eggs I want and all the pancakes I want and I know what I’m eating. An$ the most important thing is if I hav3 to use the bathroom. I know who was In there. Saves me money too
Stay home and have breakfast

My girlfriend make the absolute best eggs Benedict ever. She starts with a waffle made from left over mash potatoes instead of an English muffin. She speads her homemade pimento cheese, then Chipotle bacon topped with a poached egg, with the holindaise sauce poured over the egg. You won't find that in a restaurant

Spareparts you should never ever step foot in a cracker barrel. Or any other dinner for breakfast.
My wife makes the best over easy eggs. Toast. And Coffee. I seldom have home fries with that. And she makes waffles from scratch and pancakes. Reg waffles and reg pan cakes. That’s the way we like it. And it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. And we don’t have to leave a tip. But I have to be honest, I never heard of waffles made with mashed potatoes? Sounds interesting,is that a southern thing?
I don’t want to brag but I make the best hard boiled eggs ever. Thanks to YouTube.
Bring the water to a hard boil
Lower it down to 7 if you have an electric stove.
Put the eggs in for 9 minutes the yokes anre not hard , just right And if you want the yokes a little softer. Take them out in 8 minutes.
I have it down to a science.

Normally you just call it potato cakes, add an egg and seasoning to left over mashed potatoes, mix well and pan fry. My girlfriend figured out using a small waffle iron, she gets the same results, just looks like a waffle. She freezes the extras and thawes when needed.

Sounds delicious. I like the idea that you can freeze them. I like potatoes too sounds l8ke her using the waffle iron makes them taste better cause you probably hav3 ends that are crispy
