Desperately Seeking Windshield

I realize that windshields are hard to come by, but I have an 88 that I am repairing and I just spent a small fortune on repowering. Anyone out there willing to part with one. The rough measurements are 84 across (30x24x30) and 53" on the sides. The offset is 4 inches from the corner to the center. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I have searched pretty much everywhere online (Ebay, Taylor, iboats, Marine Liquidators, etc.)

Yeah, I am still hoping Axe's will fit, but I understand the pre-79 shields are different. Plus it may have bad glass. We'll see when the specs and pics come in. Just getting the word out there to any other possibilities. I am not going back on my word.

You may have to get a different year, fill all your holes and make it fit!!
May be a little different, but I am sure most any V windshield would fit with a bit of work!!

I have one, the center section has been replaced with plexi-glass and is cloudy. It needs a support arm. RacerX was going to buy it but I couldnt figure out a way to ship it and I was real busy at the time with a new house and wife.

Mulv, I am waiting on Axe, but I would definitely be interested. That is if you suddenly found time away from the house and wife.

Havent seen axe for a while, don't wait to long!! Jump on Mulv, these things don't come around offten!!

what ever happened to Racerx. haven't seen him around in a long time :-/

Coffen, that will cost so much!! :o

Any one that has one of them put toghter entertainment centers, that be a good box.

I would go to appliance store and get like a fridge box and coustom make my box.

yes they will come apart and then I would use cardboard between each section, then fit into a box or make my own box for shipping.

Thanks MJ,

I emailed MULV stating that any MailBox, etc. or UPS store will package for you. But if they come apart, it will be easier. Still no sign of AXE.

I am getting a little excited. The marina just pulled off the old motor and will install the new one tomorrow once my jacking plate arrives. Now I just have to find time to work on it. I have to rewire, put on a windshield (hopefully not the wrong-fit one I have now, and re-install the tank , vent and hoses. I am having them install the new steering cable through the transom (required because of the jacking plate).

Another reason for wanting the correct windshield is that I have a bimini and full enclosure. I do not really use it (I like the sun), but it is nice to know it would fit.

I'm looking for an enclosure, and I have a spare sliding hatch also.
