engine stands

i just bought project motor for the winter( 87' 85hp Force) at a yard sale...but i need to build a engine stand for it.... i have 9 pieces of 2 x 6 boards, 6ft long each....i need some ideas on what/how to build it...if you have any pictures of your stands please post them.... thanks

I never built one ??? I have a 2 X 12 bolted on my deck thats were mine hang.


I hate to say it, but the wood will be worth more then the Force!!

Kajun, my motor-stand is 39" from top to the ground including the casters...keep in mind it was made for a short-shaft (20") motor... ...

find one of these at an autoparts store.

It's worth it if you are storing the motor in your garage.
