fishing rod box replacements

Franco

God
Any body have a line on new fishing rod boxes, mine are angled at each end so I need some at least 76 inches long ( rectangle ) to replace mine. Been to Flounder Pounder and Marine connection. No luck, searched the web and still no luck. Help

Hey Oz,
I did mine 2 years ago, They just broke in different spots now because they are so brittle. Plus the teak trim on mine is in pretty bad shape. I even glassed in backer boards inside the liner to give it more support. They started cracking around the screw holes. I even chamfered the holes. Plus I'd like to do a few things differently in that space.

are yours angled at each end? Check out my gallery, I think you can see them there. If they would work we could work out a deal. Thanks Jaysea

hey if you don't want the teak then what are ya asking for them all mine are shot and if so could you post some pics of the teaks.

sorry NO MORE NORTON SNAGGERS,HAD THEM DONE THAT,THE TEAK STRIPS ARE 50"FOR THE LONG STRIPS AN 17"1/2 ON THE END STRIPS, AN HAVE THE TEAK ROD HOLDERS FROM THE INSERT

Jaysea, I forgot to measure the rod boxes the other day, but if you think that is a match to yours then I am still interested.

Franco, I have the same problem you do. I dont think you are gonna find one to fit just right. I am gonna go with FPounder and fill in some on my openings. ::)

Hey Franco if you had time you are not too far from flounder pounder. I dug through a bunch of bigger ones over there. They had some Mako ones that might work for the angle I think. You just have to cut them out a little. The ones I bought are PVC I think. They were 50 bucks each.
