HAD A GREAT 3 DAYS FISHING UP IN RI YESTERDAY WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD 18 KEEPERS AND ABOUT 20 SHORTS AND A FEW SHORT BASS 27 IN WAS BIGGIST THEY WHERE PICKING UP THE BAIT OFF THE BOTTOM.

holy crap! hey capt, what are the regulations like up by you? 18 keepers and 20 shorts... you either have some pretty easy regs or you have discovered the fountain of fluke. what do you use up there?

I hope to be out tere killing my share of Fluke in a week or so!!

Here in Mass the reg's are recerational is: 17 1/2 X 7 fish

But I am Commercial so I get to get: 14 X 200 pounds ;D

Going to fill the freezer soon!!

Flukin here off Gardiner's has slowed waaaay down. Lots of throwbacks.

I'm heading out Friday for a fluke/porgie trip. I'm actually goint to mate for my neighbor. He has a 32' BHM downeast charter boat. I'm getting paid to go fishing....life is good :)

I had me some fried flounder fillets last night...got some left overs for lunch too. 8)
 
17 1/2 and 7 fish i only keep 18 in and up i go out at 6 am limit out by 10 am and pick up my father i take the fish out of the live well and put them on ice in my garage thats up the block form where i pick up my father then dad and i fish to 2 pm and come in with the rest and start cleaning fish and boat , and my father has a commercial fishing and lobster license, we both have the same name we can take 14 in when in ri with that but there is no need too he does not sell fish anymore and he is to old to pull pots.

gonna try a new spot on thursday/friday and hopin to bring a couple home for the fryin pan.
hear tell their killin em inside jones inlet (for all you long islanders).
talkin about 5,6,7,8,9 and bigger comin over the gunwales.
gonna get me some.
