Gotta be a Scam

only one way to find out...... if anyones interested I could ck it out my brother inlaw lives in haddon heights and its a very small town... there is some big money in that town and also haddonfield...

For those that didnt get to see it the deal looked fairly legit. It was a 2001 Hydrasports 22' CC with a 2004 200 Etec and a new trailer for $7000. The part that was convinicing was that the seller said he was going through a divorce and would sell the boat for his pay off rather than have to compensate his ex-wife for the book value of 22,000. He didnt list any email just an 856 area code phone number. I don't know if it was a scam or just a great deal. I really hope it was a scam because I told my wife about it and she said I should buy it:cry: The listing however was flagged for removal by Craigslist, oh well. Too good to be true than it probably is.

I think that the scammers are getting smarter. I saw a nice Kubota tractor recently on CLIST and guess what? It was a lady going through a divorce who was selling HER HUSBAND's tractor for about 1/4 the value because "she wants it gone and didn't need it." I played along long enough to be certain it was a scam. I just made out like I was local and I wanted to come to see the tractor. Well at that point she says it is at the shipping terminal crated and ready to go to whoever buys it so I can't see it. So, when you suspect a scam, tell them you are local even if you are not and try to line up an appointment. I guarantee if its a scammer they will come up with a bs reason why they can't show it to you.

Just because a post is flagged doesn't mean its a scam. People flag good deals to take the add off. Once it is flagged nobody else gets to see it unless the owner notices it and reposts.

Anyway, this one probably was a scam. I see that line often.
