Thanks everyone for the BD wishes.
Trawler school was great, I did classes P101 & 102 together which is general boatmanship and chart navigation. I went back 30 days later and took P103 which is open ocean navigation. We went from Fort Myers to Keywest, stopped at Marco Island 1 night and then straight to Keywest. Spent 3 days 2 nights and then came back stopping at Shark island and then Marco Island and then back to Fort Myers. The trip was a total of 6 days.
Had a great time and learned a ton. You need o do it.
