Hi Boys!!!

Well...its been way to long since I've been on here and I aplogize for that. Since I moved back home to WV last fall....well....a lot of **** has hit the fan. Trying to take over my parents landscape supply business has been a journey, but going well. The summer rush has slowed down and its time to sit back and try to figure out what I can do better or improve next year. I am enjoying it...just a lot of work.

On a personal note...I'm in the middle of a pretty nasty divorce...so that has occupied a lot of my time and most of my mind. Just haven't been in too much of a mood to get on here and chat I guess.

The V didn't even get the tarp pulled off her this spring...I know...shame on me. :bat: I promised myself I would use her next year...she's too good of a boat to just let sit around...and I miss her.

Hope everything is going well with everyone...hope you all caught a lot of fish this season.

I will be around a lot more now that I got a little more time on my hands...

Good to see you back on! Sorry to hear about the divorce...I know that is rough, but you will be just fine when it is all behind you. I met a stranger in the rest room one day last week and we traded "how are you doing's" and he remarked that he was above the ground so things were pretty good. That kinda stuck with me. Time spent ABOVE ground is always better than the alternative. Best of luck and just take it one day at a time.

Welcome back. I'm one of the new kids on the block, so you don't know me, but I and a lot of others have been where you are now. You just have to trust me when I tell you that "this too shall pass"... It gets better. Meanwhile, good to see you're back on the site and good to hear that your parents business is doing good. DO NOT put anything in your name until after the divorce is final... divorce lawyers are really funny about wanting things they have no right to.. :bat:

Hey Chris, sorry about the headaches you are dealing with. I hope nothing but the best for you my friend.
As a distraction, possibly you should freshen up W.E.T
I brought it up yesterday with a delicious link.
Take care

Glad to see you back!
Ditto what willy said!
hammer has but all abandoned us and Stinky just floats in whenever he feels like it, MJ,
well is MJ.

Just like "E.T." said; "Be good", and you will have a complete and sweet peace of mind after that storm is gone. Remember "up-there" is a Gentleman Who will not ever forget you and/or your good will, and He will throw a lifesaver everytime you need one. Just hang in there and show your Sons and Daugthers ( if any ) and everybody else; What a good Soul is made of.
You have done already one of the most dificult steps of this Chapter, you have started to talk about it with your old Pals, and we`ll be here too, just throw it at us and if you don`t mind we will help you to be "back on the boat" soon !!!!

glad to hear from you cy, if your in the landscape business & had a summer rush, your doing something right, down here it has been slooooow. and you know the old saying about divorce, the reason they are so expensive , they are worth it.
but you gotta look at the positive, 10 more days and BIG EAST football......

Good luck with the business, and keep plugging away.

I am not going through a divorce, but my life has turned into a bad country western song.

Just this past weekend, I found out that even with all my troubles, I have been trumped by another families ordeal.

I just keep singing the Monty Python song atthe end of the meaning of life -

always look on the bright side of life.

Nice to hear from you and best wishes with your issues. Going through similar issues myself. Blue Runner's comment about being above ground reminds me of a comment a security guard at an office building I used to work at would often make in response to a "howya doing" inquiry: "Hey, people tell me my breath stinks but I'm breathin!"

Nice to have you back.....Hope everything smooths out for you....as long as we're quoting old timers...the one I know that uses a similar expression is "hey I'm lookin' at the grass from the green side!"

thanks for all the replies fellas....I'm pluggin along. One day at a time I guess. The worst part of the whole divorce is not getting to be with my son everyday. Looks like there is going to be joint custody...so that is the best I can wish for. Good to hear from all you guys!

Attaching a pic of my son...he is now 20 months and a complete handful. He is the center of my universe and I really cherish every second I spend with him.

Here is the "dude"

Good on the joint custody deal.....and fyi pic didn't post...please re-post. We want to see the little future snagger.

sorry bout that...here are a couple of pics of the "dude"

How's WV looking this year. Miss a few dear friends in Weirton that I lost in the divorce...
