Lost my son in law

Friday morning, November 8th at 12:30 am we lost my son in law. His liver and kidneys failed and wouldn't recover. He was only 32 years old. He was diabetic and his liver just gave up. He was the best son in law anybody could ask for. He loved my daughter and grand daughter and took really good care of them. He was a huge part of our lives. We're a really close family and he will be missed terribly. He was always the life of the party at all our family gatherings, always polite and respectful and had no enemies. He loved hunting and fishing and mated on charter boats , ran a bait and tackle shop at Nags head before becoming a nuclear pipefitter at Norfolk Navel Shipyard where my daughter worked by his side. My daughter and I were holding his hands when he took his last breath. We're all devastated.

Oh man, I’m so sorry to hear that. My prayers are with you and your family and I know that I’m not alone in that. Your daughter and granddaughter are very fortunate to have a loving dad/grandpa to comfort and be with them now and be there for them in the years to come.

I am so sincerely sorry to read this news, you all must be devastated. I will pray for him and for you and your family that you will find comfort and peace.

There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said. I'm so very, very sorry for your family's loss. It sounds like he was a fine man and a good husband. My prayers will be said for him, your daughter, granddaughter and you and the rest of your family. May God have mercy on his soul and may he dwell in the house of our Lord forever.

SH!T!!! I wish there was something I could say. i'm not good at this sort of thing. i'm so sorry for your tragic loss. not sure there's anything worse.

Cfelton - Not sure how I missed this one, but would like to offer my condolences as well. Very sorry for the loss your family has experienced.

Thanks guys! We're all doing ok. Christmas was definitely not the same without Matt. Been helping my daughter and granddaughter out as much as possible. He had a nice Tacoma 4x4 5 speed v6 that will probably be for sale soon as my daughter cant drive a stick shift. I've thought about buying it cause my Tacoma is about to trip 400000 miles but still running strong. I'll post it if she decides to let it go. Thanks again for all the prayers for our family!
