MJ ...someone on the bracket???

How do you lay it out again?

25" outboard...29" setback....

2" of rise for every 12" of setback...that right? :-/

Im going to help my buddy lay his out today...the one that bought mine...

Its a 21' Rabolo..cuddy

...and NO Hammer I dont want to know how to SET it in the BACK of your truck so hush!! :P

;D

The site Kam posted is right, its like 1" for every 12 if you follow that.

I just measured it so that the motor was even with the bottom keel. works fine!!

I just thought the bracket that way was just to high on the back of the boat!

So on mine the mount on the bracket is at 25 and the bracket is like 23 or so from the botom

Good luck!

Some places I have seen it 1" up for ever 12" back, some say 1"up for ever 5 to 6" back.

I guess that's where the art comes in. I would think that if you don't go as high as is possible, you are missing out on some of the "bracket advantage". But too high you will be out there with a saw like Willy.

Thanks guys...got her layed out yesterday.

I had to make a call to Lord Skools to check my math on sumthing, but all went well other than that.

The end of the week he is bringing it over my way to drop it off and Im gonna help him with the glassing.

Ill keep yall updated and post some pics of the progress.

Good news is I got a free swim ladder and jackplate out of the deal.

Im thinkin bout putting the jackplate on my 18....she runs ok without it, but I may increase performance...what do yall think?
