I think Rep. Allen West said it best.
"The United States Supreme Court has ruled to uphold the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act by extending the power of the United States Congress to tax Americans' behavior. This is a sad day for Americans, as they will be taxed to pay for benefits they may not need or want as part of the insurance they are forced to buy. With this decision, Congress has been granted infinite taxation power, and there are no longer any limits on what the federal government can tax its citizens to do."

Obama fought back when it was referred to as a TAX. Irony is, Supreme Court views it as a TAX and that is what saved it.

Don't matter about the health care to me, the overreaching power of Congress and the "We got your back" response from the Supreme Court is the game changer. "Infinite Taxation Power", Folks if this is Change we can believe in, shoot me now... Lying mother ******s.
 
Ridge, I could not have said it any better. To think that Roberts basically said it was not the Supreme Courts job to reverse it, that it was the citizens job to elect people that would reverse it, was nothing more than an act of supreme cowardice. That is exactly the job of the Supreme Court. I cry for myself, and my family and my friends. But most of all I cry for my grandchildren and their yet unborn children, because they will never know what it was like to have lived in a Country where the people were free. Our politicians and our courts have done to us what no Country in history has been able to do. Today, June 28, 2012, the people of the United States lost their freedom. :sad:
 
Observations from today.
There are still some people who believe this Bill was about health care, it never was and never will be. It is about power and control of the States and the People by and omnipotent out of control federal government.
That is it in a nut shell. Your health care costs will not do anything but rise, your freedoms to choose will all be gone by 2014, and the authority granted to an unelected bureaucracy, Health and Human Services, will become the de facto ruler of our lives without congressional oversight.
And for some reason, a Supreme Court Justice stood by as that federal government seized these powers and voted to side with the socialist's.
His excuse for doing so, saying that the penalty imposed in the mandate is without a doubt a tax, and that the government has the authority to tax.
So the Obamination in national addresses, in nationally televised interviews has repeatedly said that this is not a tax. The senate and the house under the leadership of two devout socialists said repeatedly that it is not a tax.
The Solicitor General arguing the case before the Supreme Court reiterated to the justice's when asked that this is not a tax.
But in an obviously twisted mind, Roberts decides to hold the law Constitutional as it is a tax.
So, first most obvious thing, Obama is a straight forward liar, Reid and Pelosi, liars. Bold faced to the people liars. And today they are celebrating getting away with the biggest lie ever told to the American People. They have just gotten away with the biggest single tax hike in the history of the WORLD. Over 500 billion dollars. Plus they have taken 500 billion dollars out of the care for our seniors. Plus they have expanded the nations debt by over one trillion dollars as per the CBO. Plus as per the CBO, a minimum of 20 million Americans are going to lose their Health Care insurance as their employers now will drop it.
And to add a little icing to the cake, the second in command of the DNC today posted " it's constitutional biatches "

So I am done talking about this scum we have in office and what they have done.
And yes I call anyone who is such a liar, so dishonest in his everyday being, so corrupt and anti constitutional in his everyday working while in an office in which he put his hands on a Bible and swore an oath to protect and uphold SCUM. And anyone who contributes to this scum should be called out by the American People.
Oh, wait a minute.
That is what exactly is going to happen on November 6th of this year.
The Scum and his minions and all his Lost American supporters going to get tossed out on their arse's.
And all of the Lost Americans who cannot see past their own personal greed and desire to be at the public trough are going to have to face the reality that there is still a majority of Americans who love this Country and the Constitution of the United States, and will not tolerate a Empirical Presidency and a destruction of our Nation.
November of 2010 is going to look like the good old days.
I am personally committing money and time to the defeat of this virus in our country and I know many millions of Americans are going to stand up and do the same thing.

Utopia in the USA is not obtainable by taxing its people. Anyone voting to make the US government more powerful and larger is lazy and wreckless. The governance we have today is flirting with treason every time they add a dollar of additional debt. To ignore the CBO or Claim that there will be some sort of imaginary offsets to counter the cost of healthcare is ludicrous."

The Canadians think the consrvative party in the US is crazy for sweating Nationalized Healthcare. They have had it for years. What is the taxation rate in Canada? How much of Canada's population is on Welfare? Paying taxes? What does their system and the European model look like? You know if you carry a turd in your pocket long enough you will eventually forget about the smell.
 
This is a prime example of what I've been railing about for years...it's obvious as hell Obama is in the pockets of the insurance industry...it was the 1st thing he did when he got into office....but you know what?...he's just playin' the system that we allow...every day we should be writing our congressmen, marching in the streets, whatever it takes to run the lobbyists and the companies they represent the hell outta our government...if yer blamin' Obama it's like blamin' the kid who's ALLOWED to raid the cookie jar...

The insurance industry, petroleum, banks, pharmaceuticals and other big money interests are runin' this country...not you and me...if you think Obama's the only one who's screwed you lately, lemme tell ya...it's the whole damn system and as long as we keep falling for party politics it will continue...
 
It took Pelosi and Reid to push it through. There is blame to go around. It barely got the votes after sweetening the deals with pork. At the time it was passed the surveys of the people revealed the people said NO. Then they introduce the tripe at 2:00 in the morning and voted it through without even reading it.
Obama was doing his part to rail it through. Meeting with Insurance Industry Giants behind closed doors like the meetings he had with the banks not to mention the strongarm tactics with opposing members in his own party, to sway the vote. It was definitely party politics. Transparancy? I think not.
At least they finally hung the "T" word to what it really is. Another TAX.. Doesn't effect Congress, Doesn't have much effect on the mega rich, nor the poor, all of which have Gold Plan Health Insurance already. Working class will fund it. NO PROBLEM...

Swiftly chipping away at our constitution! Keep an eye on your 1st, 2nd, every amendment. These guys are crafty and are working hard to kill our freedoms. The founders designed the constitution so that our government would always know who the boss really is. Sad times. Vote em out in November or say hello to the people's republic of the Americas. All I can say is I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees the forest through the trees!
 
In the event you missed the Friday news dump, Barack Hussein Obama issued yet another executive order. Titled “Assignment of National Security and Emergency Preparedness Communications Functions,” it may be read in its entirety on the White House website. http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/07/06/executive-order-assignment-national-security-and-emergency-preparedness- At first blush, it appears that the order modernizes previous communications functionality, particularly as it relates to the continuity of governmental communication during wartime or national crisis as defined by Obama.​

The text of the order itself consists of 2,205 words and seven-(7) sections and multiple subsections. The policy statement (section one) seems innocuous and actually beneficial to the continuity of communications within the U.S., until one begins to dissect the order and consider it in context with other Obama issued directives. Extensive analysis of this order, in tandem with other recent Obama orders and signed legislation, suggests a disconcerting pattern of potential overreach by Obama into the area of normal and customary commercial communication systems.​

Based on an analisis of this order, it would appear that the implementation of emergency communications by Obama, using all forms of wired and wireless communication systems, is redirected through the Executive branch and could expand such takeover abilities beyond the limits of an actual act of war, national emergency, or other event impacting the national security of the U.S. The order also mandates that the Department of Homeland Security develops and submits such a plan to Obama within sixty-(60) days of this order (section 5.2(h)).​

As you can see, by itself, the executive order seems bland and unimposing, but add it to all the other executive orders he's issued and it becomes clear that he is taking control of every aspect of our lives. Welcome to Russia comrades.. I wonder how long it will be before he suspends elections in the name of safety, or national security? :cen: ​

Under the new health care bill all real estate transactions will be subject to a 3.8% sales tax.
If you sell a $400,000 home, there will be a $15,200 tax. This bill is set to screw the retiring generation, -- who often downsize their homes. Does this make your November, 2012 vote more important?
Oh, you weren't aware that this was in the ObamaCare bill? Guess what; you aren't alone! There are more than a few members of Congress that weren't aware of it either.
