Two of these pups. They are "zinc chrome plated", when translated means, "I'll be relplacing them before I die". Where's the stainless in this model? $11.99 each

And last but not least, two new windshield supports. I'm not sure what size I need but it ranges between $12.99 to $16.00 which is 14" long.

Also, looking for a good used set of omc controls with long enough main wire and control cables.

BR, West Marine has the gas caps you seek in SS...$29.99 ea...I bought two of 'em 5 yrs ago....

When you replace these, be sure to run GROUND wire from filler cap to tank...POOF avoidance... ;)

Mine are not??  What was that noise??  :o Its MJ!! He is parasailing!! But whats all that smoke??  :'(

As the two guys passed ea/other in mid-air, one goin' up, other goin' down, guy goin' down says "Hey Man, know anything about parachutes?"...guy goin' up says, "No, do you know anything about gasin' up boats?"... :P

I found what I needed in the stainless variety at ShipStore.com. Also got my windshield supports there.

Ordered a small piece of starboard on eBay to cut out and place over my dash. It will cover the guage holes that I don't need and dress things up for the new electronics I'm about to add!

If I get my steering cable tomorrow, I should be test driving for the first time as early as this weekend! That is of course if High Rock Lake has enough water in it ???

I'm really dreading re-wiring this thing!

What's the second gas fill fitting for? Are you setting up a remote oil fill for a VRO tank? That would be nice.

RAP, you are killin me!Parachutes and blown up V-20's... :D

I have the plastic fuel fitting and dern if you guys don't have me all worried. I have no clue as to whether my cap assembly is grounded or not! Guess that's another task for the list! >:(

Rick, I don't know if a metal fill nozzle touching a plastic fuel fitting would cause a static charge or not...metal on metal or plastic on plastic definately will...like if a guy filled up some plastic gas cans, hauled 'em in a pick-up w/a plastic bed liner and that can didn't get grounded before touching that filler cap w/all those fumes...seems it COULD happen...I'm not tryin' to scare a bunch of folks, but why not ground 'em and err on the side of caution?...

Glad you gotta kick outta the parachute story... ;D

By the way, I had two sets of controls that I was able to part out and make one good set of controls that will work with my boat, so I've got that checked off the list.

Nice looking reel CB, but two questions for you:
What's that company's track record? Meaning, will those reels hold up? Also, how much $ will it set you back?
