replacing water pump 225 rude

replacing the water pump on my 96 rude 225 and noticed a crack in the pipe is this a problem also a bad seal on this tube.

The crack in the tube should be fine, just make sure it doesn't have a sharp edge sticking out that could cut the seal in the water pump housing. As for the other seal, it will come in a complete water pump kit if you get an OEM kit.

i bought the OEM kit but it did not have that seal. I assume the plastic tube seats against that seal?

more pics i see a grove in the seal does the plastic tube lip fit in this seal and is the brown o ring in the correct place? thanks for any help

studying the pictures in the instructions and see that the grommet is supposed to be attached to the plastic tube. only thing that i am not sure about is that brown o ring when i took the pump off that grommet was not attached to the plastic tube and the o ring was were i put it in the plastic tube in the pic. but the instructions do not show one there. it is a 25" shaft if that makes a diff.

wow an OEM pump i hate to say it but next time buy a Sierra pump
