God
We are leaving the dock at 6:30 am, gonna catch some live bait and fish the falling tide and a couple of hours of low tide around the north jetty at Sebastian Inlet. Then we may do a little king fishing or maybe even a tarpon is they are rolling off the beach.

Sebastian Inlet!!

Great spot, that Sebastian Inlet! About 8-9 years ago I was visiting a friend in Melbourne Beach. He introduced me to Tom, the guy who owns the tackle shop at the inlet. We became pretty friendly. One day I stopped by the shop to shoot the s**t, around noon, with no tackle. He said, if you wanna go out on the jetty and toss a shrimp I'll set you up.
I said what the hey, u never know. I said give me a light setup. He let me use a light spinning outfit with 12lb. test, threw a few shrimp in a bucket and said "good luck"

I strolled out on the North Jetty, lots of people fishing but no one catching...it was mid-day. After just a few minutes....FISH ON! Within seconds people were all around. Somehow I was able to keep the fish from bustin me off with all those pilings around. Of course I had no net :-/ But plenty of Sharpies out there that WERE prepared. Someone lowered their big round net in the water and I easily drageed the fish over it, guy pulls it up over the rail......35 inch snook!!! 1 inch OVER the limit, which was fine with me because I was going to release it anyway, but man, those locals were so upset that it wasn't a keeper. They probably would've thrown me off the jetty if I released a keeper! :o

Locals I Know wouldn'a wacked off an inch and ate it.

Here one inlet south ( St. Lucie ) I've been catching greenies for bait and nailing Kingfish every early eve for the past week. Tonite I got two Snook under the Jensen Beach causeway on my way back to the ramp.
