Splash!

Splashed the boat Saturday mid day in some dense fog. Fog never really burned off all day. We had calm winds and 50* water. Fished for about 2 hours and scraped up for flounderz, all around 18" but no keepers (19" in VA this year). All in all, I'd call it a heck of a trip. Pictured is the first of season :beer:

Edit to add: That was also the first fish caught on her custom rod (built on a St Croix Avid blank) from Christmas. One happy lady there....

Its a durn shame you can't keep an 18". What, do they want them to die of old age?????? Nice report.....BTW I can SEE THE PIC!! WOOHOO!!

looking good, only question is......

chilly weather and dense fog??? where is that fabulous new top you just had made???:head:

Fish were caught on white bucktail teasers and silversides. I save the enclsoure for cold or rainy weather. It was a warm day on land, just a little chilly on the bay...

Yeah, I think so. Actually has a couple offers. Problem is, I ain't goona be without a boat for 1 day for flounder season. I think we are going into a 22' Grady Seafarer when we find the right one? Then we will sell the V.

Nice Air, hate to see your V go though, good luck on the water this year either way, just put mine in yesterday:clap:
