VRO removal..what fuel pump?

I've used that style before on the 3 cylinder OMC's, and it seemed to work fine. Last one I bought has been 10 years now and set me back $23, I see they have went up a bit. You can also buy them from SIERRA or MALLORY for less money, and chances are it's the same pump. BRP doesn't make parts for the old style engines, so when you buy EVINRUDE parts they are repackaged aftermarket(CDI electrical, and I believe SIERRA or MALLORY for everything else).

Stink, you got a place to draw a vacuum for that pump?
Some of those engines had a plug in the block and needed a barbed fitting installed to utilize that, some had a plate that needed removing and used a different pump than that.
And I don't doubt some needed to be drilled and tapped to derive a vacuum.

The VRO pump already used a spark arrestor and hose to the pump, so no changes needed.
