In the corner I used a pompanette closed ended stainless holder. The closed ended holders have a small drain fitting at the bottom. I ran a length of plastic refrigeration/air conditioner tubing from the end of this to the covering board for proper drainage.

Added a "MST" engine flush system. here's the water inlet..transom getting cramped.

a couple more days till splashdown. I'll be targeting Mako sharks and inshore tuna off Long Island's south shore. the 20 fathom curve is only 8 miles from the inlet. Buddy o' mine fished in a tournement last week and got a nice thresher.. and spotted a pair of great whites....can't wait.

Finally...splashdown and seatrials of rebuilt engine. I was eager to see what the hull could do. It was small craft warnings out of Moriches inlet with white breakers. I found it to be awesome in a headsea and somewhat hard to control in a following sea. Had to slow down or risk burying the nose.
