mind you i have raised my transom to 25" and I have saddle tanks I plan to keep
both the 150 and 200 are the same weight at 475 lbs as per NADA

I love the power of the 200hp. And it's hard to go wrong with a Yammy... they have great reputations... BUT... They also had a corrosion issue with the shift shaft. I know they fixed it, but I don't know when. It used to be a problem to fix, but somebody came out with a kit that (supposedly) makes it an easy fix. In all cases ask Spareparts about it. He's a lot more knowledgeable than me on this subject.

I've often thought about adding saddle tanks to my V21to increase my range between fill-ups.:head:

HPDI has reputation for requiring very careful maintenance - fuel and filters.
They’re considered quite good.....but some other motors are considered “ less fussy”
to keep up properly . That’s about it .

shift shaft issues were early 90's and older. 175 and 200 HPDI's are pretty solid, 250 and 300 HPDI not so much. Keep in mind, like any DFI engine, they will not tolerate bad fuel, they are on the edge of too lean all the time, and parts are freaking expensive for the fuel system
