Agree. I can handle snow when we're up north at Christmas. In fact, I enjoy it then because I don't HAVE to get out in it unless I want to.

Good question, and I don't have a good answer. I flush my engine religiously after every use, using the marina's water hose. On the other hand, my friend in south Florida never flushes his twin engines and he uses his boat a lot more than I do and hasn't had any issues. :unsure:
