Hey REEL, does your set up work better with the floor drain in the back wall instead of the floor?

RB...jury's still out...havent had 'er in thr drink enough to tell...w/me and Spare stacked up on the stern, water DOES come in...which was anticipated...and it runs out pretty fast as soon as the weight moves for ward, so I guess it's doin' the job...the main thing I was going for was to eliminate the DROP of the 90* drain fixture in the floor before it can run out...cuz after the drop, it's gotta go back UP before it can go out...

I'm glad you posted your pics and experience w/the inline checks...they may need more water pressure before they open enough to be effective in that application...I am glad to hear they hold the water OUT, though...I gonna run mine as is, till I make a decision...Thanks!!...

Yep, that is the trouble with the floor drains, by the time it goes down the drain and elbow, it is at best, even with the through hull in the side of the boat, if not a little below.

I was REELY hoping you were gonna say that your problem was solved because I have a set of drains like yours to put in mine when I get around to it.

Maybe if I put them in AND run the hose to the splashwell it would solve it...either that or get the Parker 23 I dream of.
