Alive and Well in Miami

I have not abandoned nor forgotten about my V20 friends, however I have been doing a lot of traveling and with not much time on the road to check in as much as I would like to. Our architecture and building business has been very slow so we’ve taken on to do building inspections for the Federal Government which has taken us to many cities in the US including Hawaii and Puerto Rico. And although I have enjoyed visiting new places, this life on the road get old very quickly. Nevertheless, it’s about 70% of our income and not until this economy and the real estate market begins to rise from the almost dead, we will continue to do so. As to the V, well, have not seen a lot of her lately but she looks good. Since I will home in Miami until next Sunday, I’m definitely going to take her out fishing and on a night cruise on the intercostal. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and even though I don’t contribute as much as would like to, I do check in from time to time and enjoy very much your postings, which have helped me many times, and for this, once again, my Thanks.

Just do what you need to, to keep you and yours afloat. Try to enjoy the traveling as best you can, been there and done that. A state of mind has to come over you in order to make it work.
Good luck to you and enjoy your cruise on the ICW

Nice to hear from ya.....look at the bright side at least when you get home to Miami you still have a chance to use the boat....I'll be home all winter and just looking at it sitting there... not sure what kind of building design you are in to but I do see the commercial/industrial construction in our neck of the woods starting to pick up so hopefully it will keep going.

Thanks for checkin' in, Builder!!...always good to hear from ya!!...Yeah traveling's a bumma, but if it floats the boat, be glad...the nightcruise will be that much sweeter...
