Finally a window of opportunity where I was able to take the boat out for the first time this season! Mind you, it's nothing like MJ's first outing, but for a novice fisherman it was good for me! (and I needed it!) Although I did not get a keeper (caught 2 that were 27 inches), I caught more than a dozen of Stripers.

Any time you get out and get fish too is a great trip in my book....I still havent had my boat out to the ocean yet...only the lake once for a shakedown and quick cruise....did manage to get 2 fishing trips in on my friends boat which makes me feel like I've been out some so I dont feel too lame.....

A Bad Day Fishing Is Better Than A Good Day Working!

Never forget that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I primarily tarpon fish and the guideline is:

A. If you see Tarpon, that is great

B. If you hook a Tarpon, that is fantastic

C. If you boat a Tarpon, it is Phenomenal

I had the fortune of boating five (5) last year....
