Been doing a little work on the Hoe

Added a little lift. It has a total of about 5 inches now. Running 33's. It's about time for some new tires going to try out the cooper at3s next I think.

Pics really don't do it justice I gotta hop to get up in it now. These truck ahold have come this way from the factory.

3" body lift Bradford. Im not a fan of BLs but this suited my needs. I just wanted to clear the tires with room for flex offroad when hunting. I wanted to just go ahead with a 6" suspension but $$ being as tight as it is this will be fine. I dont hard core offroad anymore just needed a little more clearance for hunting. i also have 3" blocks on the rear and the torsion bars are cranked slightly. Needed the rear blocks for the saggy springs and big tool box I have in the rear.

Looks good man. Why dont you just balls up and get a set of Mickey T's for her next time??? Only a few bucks more right????

Shoot I didn't pay for those STTs (and wouldn't) they came on the wheels when I bought them. Going to go with some cooper AT3s more than likely. I ain't paying what they want for those fancy tires...they're rediculous enough as it is.

nitto graplers, FTW choice of mall crawlers coast to coast or better yet, thornbirds:party:

btw, I'm holding out for 43 tsl sx for my buggy

I was expecting pics of a prostitute with a new boob job from the title.

Nice looking Tahoe...have you changed gear ratios for the larger diameter tires?

No RM I havent. I really want to run 315s (35") but will not without changing them. Id like to go to 4.56s one day but right now the 33's arent that bad. A little more shifting on hilly rides to the hunting camp that I care for but its pretty flat where I live and drive 90% of the time.

Have you ever changed gears front and rear in one? Looking at Yukon Gears it looks like I can do it for around 6-800 parts. Installing myself of course.

If you want it quiet, stick with AAM. I have done them(did the ones in my BURB). Setting up the front IFS is a PITA! IMHO. 10 bolts aren't to bad to do, been awhile since I did one.

When I was a kid working in the garage/junk yard I workied at on weekends and summers I tried to put a new gear set in a rear end of a work van...there is an art to it, I was not an artists.

But these days there will be a video on Youtube showing you how to do it right.

I've never done it right but I have halfassed it several times on beaters and trail only rigs..... So far only one had a horrible meltdown out of about 10....

If you've never done it I would strongly suggest finding a pro or an experienced helper.

If you do choose to ignore that advice (like I have lol) remember that a lot too loose while not good is WAY better than the slightest bit too tight.

Im so pumped, been wanting one of these newer center consoles for a looooong time. I found a guy parting out a 2003 Sierra on craigslist and gave him $30 for it. I already had a spare cubby to remove the tape deck. I have a couple 12volt USB outlets and regular sockets coming off of Fleabay to add to it as well. I spent some time on the road this weekend and BOY is it nice to have REAL cup holders. Its it temporarily right now till I finish up wiring and trim work.

Them there things don't work to well when you have a shifter on the floor. Guess you got one of dem dare fancy push button shift transfer cases.

Finally got some new tires on, went with the Cooper AT3's. Ive been very pleased with them so far, great ride, quiet and do well offroad. 285/75/16 LT load range E tires so hopefully they will last on this heavy bastage.

She's a featherweight compared to mine I bet. My BURB weighs in close to 7K pounds without me in it. People hate me driving across there yeards. My 245/75/16 tires with all that weight in the nose digs right in.

featherweight indeed....LOL

My ford as equipped weighs 9800 with full fuel tanks ... rides on 6 255/85R16E bfg mt's

Btw the 'ho is lookin MIGHT sharp there

I havent weighed my dually, but my van went across the scales at 8500 lbs, that was before I added another section of shelves and a tool box
