my canopy is slowly falling apart
wanted to know where to get 1 similar to original
somebody give me some answers
please

angler, it depends on where you are...if you're near a coastal area, there ought to be plenty of top-shops around..top-shops around some BIG lakes, too...does frame need replaceing, too or just fabric?...a good auto-upholstery shop should be able to do fabric only, but there's risk if they've never done it...

If you need complete top (frame & fabric) you can order one from Cabelas or Overtons...Either way, good luck and let us know how it goes ;D ...

well i was wondering if somebody had one laying around somehere that they didnt use or something
i live on the west coast san francisco bay area
canvas shops are really expensive out here and it would be much cheaper to find an old one in better condition but thanks

I found a guy in my area that does canavas work.

He is in Lions, Pa, which is just east of Kutztown.

He's taking my old canvas and using it as a template,
using the same zippers, cause they are still good.

I am not sure of the price yet, although I know he will be reasonable,
cause friends have had other work done by him.

Once I see the final product,
I will post all information with pix and price.

Parish where you at in PA, I go to Kutztown a few times a year, for Dixons Muzzle Loading Shop. At least I did until last year, did'nt hunt the smoke pole last year or get out there. Hit up Dietrichs Meats too while I'm there

Sorry for not posting this earlier,

The guy I used to redo my canvas did a very good job.
some minor issues to fix though.

I had four pieces redone,

- top
- (2) sides
- back dock cover

The top was just about perfect to the old one, some minor ripples that I can sew myself.
The back fits good, but the rear snaps around the drain well are off,
I will have to get myself a snap gun to put them in the right position.
The two side have the big issue, the snaps are all perfect,
but the zippers were put on reversed.
Even with these issues, I feel the $366.00 was well spent.

Next time I go visit the boat, June 10, I will take some pictures.

Here are some pix of the new canvas,
looks just like the old but no rips, holes and frays.
