Fishing Tourney Weigh-In Post Now or Later

well boys went to the chesapeake bay this weekend as most of you know, and caught plenty of fish, lots of stripers, snapper blues, and a couple of flounder, the only problem is they were all small.  :-/ I did manage to snap a pic of this one, he was about average the only problem was he must have jumped when my buddy snapped the photo. he was 2.2 pounds. Not enough to win the tourney, but it was a good weekend.  ;D

the reason for the cheesy grin is because I knew that I didn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning. >:(
 
It shouldn't be a winner and I know we got some HOLDOUTS. I wanted so bad to go fish for a "spot" figuring that it would be easy to catch one well over 50%, but time and weather got away from me.

I caught a 5 lb 2 oz channel catfish the other day. Didn't get a picture DOH! But, it would have only gotten me 25% anyway so that makes me feel better :D

That's a nice fish I'm sure it was good on the grill. It looks alot like the pic of my biggest from last year. Here it is:

Congrats Airslot! :D I will have to wait till I get home to actually see the winning fish... Photobucket etc. are banned sites here at work due to the nature of the work I do... senstive info and all that. I too went out at least a couple extra times this month and it was well worth the entry fee. Count me in for the next one! The "season" is also comming to an end here as well, see below... :o :( :'(

Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas. Scattered showers.

Tuesday Night
Northeast winds around 20 knots. Near shore...seas 4 to 6 feet building to 5 to 7 feet after midnight in the Gulf Stream...seas 6 to 8 feet building to 8 to 10 feet after midnight. Intracoastal waters becoming rough in exposed areas after midnight. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Wednesday
Northeast winds around 20 knots increasing to 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon. Seas 6 to 8 feet near shore and up to 9 to 11 feet in the Gulf Stream. Intracoastal waters rough in exposed areas. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Northeast winds around 20 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet near shore and up to 7 to 9 feet in the Gulf Stream. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
