I’m thinking of selling my 1986 V20. The last 3 seasons or so I haven’t used it much at all, not by choice, just not enough time anymore. The boat was purchase by me when I joined this site in April 2005, can’t believe it’s been 13 years. This rig has been wonderful. As mentioned 86 cuddy Hull , 25” transome, which is solid, as are the floors, deck and everywhere else. Motor is a 1992 V-6 150 looper that has been great all these years, my estimate is that it has approx 500-600 hrs and runs like a champ. It started to run a little rough 2seasons back so I replaced most of the ignition related parts and rebuilt the carbs (w new float bowls) all parts OEM. Since all that I’ve used it probably 4/5 times...runs awesome. The hull is very clean, shines “close” to new, interior is just as nice, padded pedestal at the helm, original light blue back/back fold down seat, no rips no tears. I’ve got two Bimini tops, one of which has the full encloser which is in near perfect condition. It’s perfect for those chilly late October/November bass trips. All the teak is good, looks nice.i refinished it all 5-6 years ago. I keep boat covered all the time when not in use, and with its limited use,it still shows well. Single axle trailer, newer winch, bran new tires w maybe 3miles on them, new battery, it’s a dual battery set up but I’ve only used one this last year (dual purpose) 17” aluminum prop w a 15” spare. She runs about 40 so says gps...she’s basically bone stock as far as electronics....a working old school hummingbird fish finder, trim gauge, windshield wiper, tach, gas gauge has power to it but pins to “Empty” when turned on, there is a horn but I don’t think it works, interior lights in cuddy, nav light and running lights are good. 1000 gal/hour bilge pump on a switch w auto float. The only thing I never liked about this boat is that it was in a slip from original owner, bottom had been painted but it only appears to have one coat on it, kinda hoping that after all my years of my ownership it would eventually wear away. If you wanted to make an afternoon out of it, it would sand down easily w just one layer, that is one unholy task and never wanted any part of it....when it sits in the water u can’t see it lol....I’m still as computer dumb as when I joined this site, I can emai/text pictures but more than likely won’t be posting pics on the wellcraft site, shoot me a pm, or call 516 220 1428.....btw, boat is in Long Island, NY, if you travel, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks guys.
