hydraulic steering helm installation

hello
I am installing a telestar hyd steering for my 86 v20 with a Evinrude 225. I notice the helm pump requires a smaller hole (3 in) and has a four bolt pattern. (PHOTOS INCLUDED) I was wondering if anyone has ever installed one and still had the 20 deg angle the black cover provides.
thanks for any advice

Put one on last year, the helm is not angled like the old cable helm was, just straight, was a little different getting used to it, but not bad. Still have two holes from the old bezel showing outside the new helm on each side, figured I'd cut a piece of wood to trim it out and cover them, kinda like a bezel. You'll love the butter smooth steering.

do you have the destroyer wheel like this or do you have the one thats more like a car wheel?
This worked great straight out.

Well , thanks to boat outfitters, they made me a starboard round plate with 3 in center hole ($40.00) now my helm is installed.
Thanks all
