Is your insert for your CD box (the lip that screws on from the outside) the original that came with the boat? The previous owner removed all that for some reason and mounted the seat back directly on to the console. If you take the cushion off there's a hole directly into my console. I'd like to keep that seatback hinged, but I need something to put behind it.

maury. yes the box, it originally had three trays that pulled out for tackle, and I altered it for the cd player and spray painted it white.
