Hey Bud those are the exact same ones I bought for my V, they work well in the gunwales, watch the angles though. Though I never had one go over they can be close to paralell with some set ups.
And after you are done and heading home pull them puppies out, they make excellent Norton Snaggers

Franco, now take them purty rod-holders to your local Fab shop and have them modified to work like these...

It looks like Air is fishing for the big boys with that gear. I use 10lb test and light spinning outfits for puny little fish I catch :-/
