Post Site Problems Here!

Crusades didn't get that involved.

I had trouble yesterday at the same time as TSUBAKI. I used the same link from my "favorites" that I always use but it said the site was unavailable. Tried the refresh button a couple times with no success.

I closed the browser and reopened it and it worked fine.

I have noticed that when I type a quick reply, I can type fast and none of the letters are missed.

But then when I go to advanced I get something that looks like this:

I woder if thi is a probem that anyne ese is havng nd
I wonderif it has soethng to do with the sileys

How fast do you have to type to trigger this problem? I type pretty fast and the only problems I have are my own typos.

Got this starting at 4:00pm today, trying to access Forum, Gallery and History.
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@wellcraftv20.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Front page would come up and it continued till 4:35. Hitting refresh and manually typing the address didn’t change things. The Links page opened.
Then starting at 4:35 the front page wouldn’t open. And got this.
The page cannot be displayed

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.
Please try the following:
  • Click the Refresh button, or try again later.
  • If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.
  • To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. The settings should match those provided by your local area network (LAN) administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
  • If your Network Administrator has enabled it, Microsoft Windows can examine your network and automatically discover network connection settings.
If you would like Windows to try and discover them,
    click Detect Network Settings
  • Some sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the Help menu and then click About Internet Explorer to determine what strength security you have installed.
  • If you are trying to reach a secure site, make sure your Security settings can support it. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and check settings for SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0.
  • Click the Back button to try another link.

Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer

And then it resumed to the internal server error. At 5:25 I gave up.
Tried again at 5:50 and got thru.

Yes we were down for about a hour to hour & 1/2

It was a server problem not something we could fix, Which made us a bit PO!! Cause we are supose to be switched to another server automatic when ares goes down and it didn't happen that way??

We atr going to be talking to them about that!!

Well I was cut off from responding due to the same thing again.
Well at 6:05 it started again. Figured I was beating a dead horse by 6:25 and proceeded to drink bourbon.
Any way, at least ya'll are on top of it. Didn't know if it was showing up elsewhere.

I will summarize what the server farm told me: Apparently, an automatted failover occured on our main server, resulting in the secondary handling all services. There is an issue with the PHP libraries on the secondary node.

That is real bad. Any problem with PHP will take the board and the Gallery down because they are both heavilly PHP dependent. The home page and the links page will still function, but everything else is hosed. I have been watching this all afternoon, even while at work, and I am logging all outages. There was nothing we could do about it but get with the server farm and tell them to give it a kick. I would kick it personally, but my leg isn't that long. :bat:

Well it's been real hit and miss for me. And now the link to the forum I had saved quit working(http://66.29.78.48/community/index.php). So I went back to the home page and logged in that way and I see were back under the WELLCRAFT V20 address. I also had to log back in again. And the smileys are out for me as well.

If you are using favorites to navigate directly to the forum, please update them now. That address was temporary to allow members access to the site while we were still in transition.

Also, Google has not updated yet so if you google this site, you end up with a dead link to the old YaBB board. The best and surest way of getting here is to go to the home page www.wellcraftv20.com and click on "Forum."

Supposedly the PHP problem is fixed. We will keep an eye on that...

I've been having problems last night and this morning logging on, i went back and updated my short cut, but it still was giviing problems. Seems to be working fine now

I checked the site on and off all afternoon and part of the evening, and it was there everytime I went looking for it. I also checked the error log and there were no errors indicating that the site was unavailable. Not sure why it was down for you. Continuing to monitor this to see if there is a pattern.

Yes... and nobody is happy about it. Something out of our control went afoul at the server and the site was down for much of the afternoon. All should be well now.

Gotto be completely unrelated to this thread. But my computer picked up a Trojan worm about Monday and is now useless.
The unit is at 10-15 years old and has been updated by my wife to such a point she said "****-it I'll order a new one", "and quit lookin at those porn sites, you don't need them anyway, you got me".
I'll be down a while till the other one gets here.
Meanwhile, I'll sneak on hers here and there.

Just wondering why, when I don't look at the site for a day or two,
threads that I have not read are marked as if I have read them?
